1 AD slate of China is tested by National Stone Quality Supervision and Inspection Center according to PRC national standard GB/T 18600-2009. The absorption is 0.18%, superior to R1 grade absorption 0.25% in GB/T18600-2009 and America ASTM, much superior 0.6% in Europe standard BS EN12326-1-2004.
Acid resistance is 0.016mm, superior to R1 grade acid resistance 0.35mm of GB/T 18600-2009 and 0.05mm of America ASTM.
2 Service life
In accordance with America ASTM, absorption of R1 grade slate¨Q0.25%,acid resistance¨Q0.05mm, the service life can surpass 75 years. Judged by the experience that China slate is used to oversea buildings, the slate whose absorption is 0.18% and acid resistance is 0.016mm can be called hundred-year quality absolutely.
3 AD slate can be split easily and can reach 3mm.
